Philosophy

MAXIA is derived from the terms “Maximum” (from lat .: maximus / -a / -um, the largest) and “Axia” (from gr . axia, the value). In combination, MAXIA stands for diverse services for creating and increasing value, which we offer our clients through our extensive range of activities. MAXIA focusses on essential levels (market, company, personnel) and concentrates primarily, but not exclusively, on a technically oriented target group.

In the interests of our clients, our focus is in particular on creating optimal added value using the available budget efficiently. For this reason, MAXIA pursues a consistently modular-oriented consulting concept – the “what I need is what I take” principle (WINIWIT) from MAXIA. This distinguishes MAXIA from other consulting firms, because we are not concerned with “looking for work at the customer”. Our goal is to support our clients to the extent that they can continue to work independently with our solutions from a certain point in time. This concept is particularly interesting for small and medium-sized companies.

Example
Consulting example (topic digitization)
You want to prepare yourself for the upcoming challenges due to increasing digitalization

Module A. ResWorX competence area
Determination of transformation requirements (e.g. analyzes in the company regarding the possibilities and necessities to digitize processes). Development of a specific digitization strategy together with the client. Propose possible transformation measures (e.g. introduction of a digital document management system for more efficient project implementation or introduction of Building Information Modeling (BIM) at different levels).

Module B. TechWorX competence area
Requirements engineering for operational information and communication technology (ICT), e.g. regarding the introduction of the BIM method in the company.

Module C. EduWorX competence area
Development of a company-specific and competence-oriented seminar / a series of seminars (possibly supported via an applied gaming approach) to support the digitization strategy (e.g. BIM implementation in projects or in the company) with the aim of supporting change processes at the personnel level.

Module D. SimWorX competence area
Development and provision of a complex BIM model for action-oriented further training (the basis is e.g. the forensic analysis of a past project with the involvement of employees)

Module E. InnoWorX competence area
Workshop on multilateral thinking to make different positions, roles and responsibilities in a BIM project immediately understandable (possibly developing an individual “Serious Game on the job”).

The above modules can be called up by the client at different times depending on the requirements. Depending on the client’s expertise and motivation, current needs or the status of internal company developments, modules can also be adopted. In this way, the optimal service package can be offered for every budget.

MAXIA’s competencies cover technical aspects on the one hand, and interdisciplinary methodological aspects on the other. To achieve optimal goals, an individually determined interdisciplinary intersection of the five areas of competence is determined for each consulting task. It is particularly important here that a practical solution is developed for the individual problem, which is based on valid, scientifically sound methods.
